The route covers approximately 500 miles (800 kilometres) from St John Pied De Port in France to Santiago De Compostella, in Northwest Spain. The map shows each overnight stop with details and links in the table below.

Camino Curio
The Credencial
The "credencial" is the official passport for pilgrims who are officially completing the pilgrimage. They are obtained from the office of the Society of St James in St John Pied de Port. Most churches and many other locations along the route have official stamps and the pilgrims collect the stamps twice a day as proof the they have completd the route.
The absolute minimum requirement is to have done all of the last segment of about 100 miles. The completed pasport is used to obtain a pilgrim's certificate in Santiago.
